I was shocked that it was good, because all the reviews say how bad it is.
Never read the reviews, and go watch it for yourselves.

The kids gave it 9.5 and 10 out of 10

A more than decent movie with a predictable plot (as it should).

Felt like a bittersweet '80s movie. :)

I have an admiration for Jack Black (since the early 2Ks), but Momoa is on par with him.

Nice references and little details, with just a couple of forgettable segments.

7/10 for me.

My theater was too obnoxious with teens cheering like every 5 minutes and I couldn’t enjoy it. Waiting for it to come to streaming apps and I can watch it in peace

I think its the same everywhere, and not teenagers, was all ages cheering and calling out references that they got.

but thats part of the fun right? else we can just rent the video at home in a months time
