Next - I'm asking DDOT to commit to a timeline for ensuring that physical barriers are in place to prevent drivers from entering the MBT. We continue to face challenges with cars entering the trail.

Improving bus reliability in Ward 5 has been a priority of mine since day one. I'm asking about bus priority projects for Florida Ave NE and Rhode Island Ave NE. Director Kershbaum has said they are "in the queue," but didn't provide more details or a timeline and said she would follow up.

That's all I had time for in my first round. Starting my second round now by asking about oversized truck issues on local DC streets. Are DDOT’s 10 oversize truck cameras sufficient to change the behavior of truck operators on the District’s local roads?

Furthermore, I'm asking - Has DDOT analyzed compliance with truck restricted route signage? (if so, what is it?). Director Kershbaum says she doesn't know but she'll follow up.

We also need to improve enforcement for pedestrian safety. DDOT has taken to installing HAWK signals and other flashing beacons that instruct drivers to stop or yield for pedestrians; however, I do not see any cameras deployed to capture violations of these traffic control devices...
