The funny thing about Naomi is that Bendis shoved her everywhere, Young Justice, Action Comics & Justice League and now she's literally a footnote that didn't matter at all

The first issue implied that she was going to be living in a town in the DCU that seemed like to attract all sorts of weirdness, but that she, herself, was normal. I was interested in that.
But then, no, that wasn't the concept at all. And it ended up super boring.
After his Guardians of the Galaxy I wasn’t *too* surprised, but it was still disappointing. The Legion is only going to get so many high-profile shots, and his was a colossal miss.
Her first book was so good because it was mainly disconnected from all the goings on in DC continuity, at the time. Once she started becoming a cog in it is when she started getting lost in the shuffle.

He just really wanted her to become his next TV show or movie investment.
Heck, the comic runs were called Seasons!
Bendis' whole tenure at DC was terrible.
But this one felt like he REALLY wanted her for other media. And that the comics were just an "unfortunate first step" he had to take.

*Batman Universe was fun
*unrelated snickering in the background
