As I see it - we need the UA at least as much as they need us.

They are now the primary bulwark against Russia and the most important allied of Europe.

UA should under no circumstances be disarmed.

Weapons that we can lay our hands on should primarily be directed to them.

The worry here is how much kit has Europe got. It will need to be producing a lot of missiles, artillery rounds, small arms, extended range Storm shadows by the truck load, plus replacing US spy flights, satellite, air lift and comms. Emptying stock won't cut it.

Expensive, yes. But it's an existential threat. Norway has made €110B just from extra gas revenues since 2021, and the Ozempic billions are rolling into Denmark.

US will simply disable starlink and prevent other military support to make sure that Ukraine accepts surrender on Moscow and DC terms. Trumps mean it when it says Europe and Ukraine has no cards. No European country will send their people to join the war.
