Am I literally the only person who looked at, and tried, a couple things with AI and decided welp, that's harder and more annoying than just doing it myself?

@quinn For programming I think most of it is cope: Not-technicals already think that coding is a kind of "magic". Of course they're not going to respond rationally when they see a machine that can produce "magic" at will.
@quinn Yeah, we all have to do our work "conversation oriented" now which means learning to delegate to somebody who's incompetent at least half the time.
Not alone. I used to get early betas of everything, and suffered endless recovery from inevitable crashes from immature tech. Smart late adopters demand easier more reliable tech. It’s ok to wait.

@raganwald yeah, i suppose i'm a pretty big consumer of text to speech stuff, given i have some text disability from my neck injury times. but beyond that, eh
