Spent the day making cabbage rolls with my sister in law and her family. Her husband is of Ukrainian decent, as am I on my father's side. My dad died when I was young, and for reasons, I've been estranged from that side of my family since. 1/2

Except for my Baba, she was always amazing right to the end. I never got her recipes, which has always been a regret. I'm so thankful my brother in law was willing to share his Baba's recipe with us today. My heart is full. Slava Ukraini. 🇨🇦 🇺🇦
