NIL just means you should be able to make money if someone offers you. The NCAA illegally denied that for years. The problem for the sport is that it’s being used to entice players. This money is really just to get them to play

I get that. It’s was obscene to watch schools and coaches make millions while the athletes got tuition but had zero spending money. Whose parents couldn’t come to games bcz they couldn’t afford the travel.

I think the only way for it to work is to have contracts.
