You're right about not knowing real cold if you're calling Candlestick "frigid cold." Not on its worst day did it reach that level in actuality. Pittsburgh has a real cold and snowy winter unlike Seattle. There's no comparison at all. DK is in for a wakeup call if this was his understanding.

The "wet cold" is a sort of different experience. You'll die of hypothermia in 45 degree water faster than standing outside in Buffalo. Most games are fine, but sometimes standing in Lumen Field feels like you've been tossed into Puget Sound. Those games are rough for fans, worse for players.

I live right by the water in Dunedin/Clearwater FL and have family in Colorado - hiking around Vail at 50 degrees with a light mist was amazing and I was fully dry by the time we got back. Contrast that with FL 55 degrees + 💯 humidity and I need at least three layers walking the dog in the morning.

Pittsburgh is far more affordable. It is only a four-hour drive to Baltimore/DC, two hours to Cleveland, 4.5 hours to Cincinnati, and 3.5 hours to Buffalo/Niagra Falls, 5.5 hours to Indy.

The AFC North teams have to travel the least amount.
