I don’t think it was all about disrespecting the process. I think that teams just realize that Shedeur isn’t that great a talent. Didn’t win that many games in the third or fourth best conference. Without Hunter would he have won any?

That’s what the Athletic think happened? There have been many players that have skipped the combine. Many players that have had legal issues and many players that were not as consistently good as Sanders and did not suffer what he went through. Does the Athletic think the NFL sent a message? JFC 🙄

Even if it wasn't collusion, the NFL had to take a stand against the way that they were shitting all over the process. Sanders wasn't good enough to just show up on his own schedule and be QB1 on day 1. It's gonna continue to be quite the transition for college hotshots making $4mil/year to the NFL

I know this seems to be the thinking but if me, a draft nerd who’s opinion doesn’t matter, had a 5th round grade on him because I believe guys who take sacks in college do it in the pros and rarely solve the problem I find it reasonable a lot of teams just didn’t value the player’s eval.
