"You did good, thank you. I needed to eat a real meal this week," eating was something he was working on getting better at. Food was....hard for him to get used to, especially now that he was on his own trying to feed himself.
"I kinda figured you did. I'm terrible at grocery shopping,"
It was hard to shop for one person, honestly. Harder to shop in modern day. But he tried (it was hard, with technology and crowds and such. But he did try).
"Thank you, really. I appreciate it."
"You're welcome". Tentatively scooting closer, she gently laid her head on his shoulder, a yawn escaping her. "I hope this is okay". She murmured softly, her eyes starting to close as jet lag and exhaustion caught up to her.

For now. But he didn't want to upset her any further than she already seemed to be. For now, he'd just keep his eye out.
