"You're welcome". Tentatively scooting closer, she gently laid her head on his shoulder, a yawn escaping her. "I hope this is okay". She murmured softly, her eyes starting to close as jet lag and exhaustion caught up to her.

"You're alright kid. I'm tougher than I look."
Usually, he'd probably flinch away. But he would be alright for now. She needed to rest, and he could tell just from looking at her.
"I am far from a kid now". Shuri mumbled sleepily, her eyes starting to close more. "You missed a few of my birthdays too". She curled up close to him, her head still on his shoulder.
"And I'm a hell of a lot older than most like to remember," he can't help but laugh, softly. "I tried to send you a gift each year. I dunno if they ever got to you or not. Who knows with bureaucracy and the such nowadays."
