I still see my old cats out of the corner of my eye, sleeping by radiators. Sorry I missed your post yesterday - must have been an awful shock for you.
She had some sort of accident outside, I don't know what actually happened. I called the emergency vet but she died right in front of me before we could leave. Rocky just quietly lay beside her as I stroked her and told her what an amazing companion she's been. It all happened so fast.
