last time I had food poisoning the literal first clue was when I picked up my phone to write a little bit during a break and I literally couldn’t figure out like 3 synonyms in a row because I couldn’t even get to the word I wanted to use in the first place. Like “hmmm something’s off.” Then.

I usually do fic rereads when I'm sick, whether it's my own or others, which is fun. It gets the creative juices going a bit without being as heavy as trying to write something new. Then jot little ideas down, just to feel productive.
