Alright what about this picture? It's the same thing, right? Nazi imagery, but this was and still is being used as a meme. To say that this picture is ok, but a depiction of a voice synthesizer doing it isn't is very hypocritical of everyone involved.

The picture I referenced is used as a meme to show the 'darker/mysterious history' of the punchline that's seen in a better light. The picture in question depicted hanging of prisoners, and therefore is far worse than basic depiction of a uniform. But that's going too far, right????

Of course I do. "Tolerate the intolerance, and they will wipe out the tolerant". The problem with this is that everyone assumes this one picture, the ONLY picture to have that uniform is the artist' political beliefs, and is threatened due to lack of background knowledge of the artist.
