Proton has made some games MORE stable on Linux than on Windows.

The only reason I run Windows is for VR. It's just not stable on Linux.

some say use Steam but I hate running multiple things when I shouldn't have to... just complicates things that needn't be.

I got it working on my Steamdeck but running the installer through Steam like you said. Works great.

If you're running a gaming PC there's no reason to not have Steam open 24/7 imo.

I tried to with Widows, cause more problems with lag and resources not to mention couldn't run teamspeak or Doscord. Might be able to here... still massaging this to where I want it to be, but I will try and screw it up hahahaha!!!

Ya, that was what I was trying, using Lutris, Bottles and a cpl others. Bottles got the closest on this setup with Blizzard's https://Battle.net but as soon as I click to go into Diablo IV it craps out...
