inspired by A but a scenario I've thought abt a Lot is the shift in the sexual partners of Aki Hayakawa who goes from himeno -> denji -> angel devil and during that final shift denji realizes he's been replaced but he can't even be upset bc if he's quiet they don't even notice his shadow at the door
