Me and a friend just caved and got the metric version. Kilometres are more intuitive for long distances for us than feet are for short distances. Anything more than, like, ten feet is basically meaningless as a number, whereas a kilometre is still vaguely understandable (~10min walk?)

The store FAQ does mention that they don't collect VAT or duties, but that might be out of date.

Mainly wondering because some countries have large brokerage fees, even if the amount of VAT being collected on delivery is relatively small.

Not sure either. There is no customs for shipments between EU countries and companies are required to collect VAT if they ship to consumers from within the EU to the EU.
