Imagine a world where they actual released the definitive version of this game that had all versions, all the difficulty levels, all the English localizations, the OG voice tracks, the PSP voice tracks, and the new voice tracks.
Not great news. I am not one of those people who think that a localization should be word for word faithful to the original text, that leads to pretty boring versions usually. Localization rather than straight translation is good.
That said WD's localizations are really kind of cringe.
Eh I'm fine with the WD script overall. It has its clunker lines, but compare it to later half-hearted attempts to translate it like the PSP version that are just bland and I'll take the WD on, no contest.
Plus, this is good news for the chance of modders seamlessly integrating the original VO.

I hope they do edit the scripts and take out trans mentions, etc, instead of doing the laziest thing possible
