Just my personal thought, but I think it's because the rep music videos kind of solidified for the casual listeners the idea of easter eggs in taylor swift music -- usually it wasn't so obvious but LWYMMD was the kickoff of "oh shit taylor is planning out every single step of this" for avg people

Well, she went full undercover for a year and everyone was wondering. Then she came back with the biggest IDC towards the media, her foes, the public opinion and even her record label, while full out praising her love.
It's everyone's need to successfully object to being defined through/by others 🐍

For me, it's because I want her to have ownership of all of her work. When she disappeared, I was worried new Taylor anything would be years or never. Rep celebrates taking control when you thought you had none and finding the strength to overcome the bad

It was such a big deal considering she had been hiding away for a few years due to all the bs with K****.When it dropped it was incredibly different and I think it stunned us. For the TV release I think people are excited to see how she does it and what the vault songs will be. It’s also my fav 🖤
