Adjuncts should join Unions to stop this abuse. After Obama; Universities did not want to pay healthcare or benefits- 70% of classes are now taught by adjuncts, tuition Is high but greed keeps tuition high adjuncts using food stamps. In California etc.. Unions stopped this abuse.

Hahahaha. I make the exact same in 2024 as I did in 2018. $2000 for the *semester* to teach a lab course

(Don't worry, it's not my main job, but it is still insulting and 100% means some weeks my students don't get my best grading timeliness/feedback cause lol, I don't get paid enough!)

I remember learning that international students got charged over four times what I was and being shocked, until I learned how much they'd be paying domestically in the US.
