UHHHH at the very start i did jump right in without knowing much, but i heard about the 12 principles of animation before, alan becker has a pretty good tutorial on yt
also dong chang's channel is pretty useful

tbh i learned from all over the place, i don't think there's a single resource that will teach you everything
what helped me was working on my process by copying what anime studios do, but most of what i learn still comes from breaking down animations i like by going through them frame by frame

there's a bunch of small things i picked up over time but listing them all usually intimidates people because i'm not that good at explaining things and end up making it sound more complicated than it really is
but those are things best learned from one's own mistakes anyway so don't worry too much
