Did you know there's an open source, open hardware, offline music player, built on an ESP32? And that it can play your music library from an SD card?
And it has a headphone jack?

I despise algorithm-driven music recommendations and prefer the offline experience. The Tangara player provides a vibe similar to the classic iPod, but in a modernized, repairable package.
I discover new music through conversation, both online and in person. Having a decent selection of public radio options doesn't hurt. I buy albums I like and it's actually fun.
looking forward to checking out this vid later
Is MusicBrainz Picard still a good bet?
