If we haven't met before, hi! I am a researcher from Australia who does work in #AnorexiaNervosa and #Cognition. I am also passionate about #LivedExperience inclusion in research. Lots of my work has been on cognitive flexibility, the ability to adapt effectively to change.
In the paper we explain how the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test ( #WCST) assesses cognitive flexibility, the difference between a perseverative response and a perseverative error, and the differences between the various scoring techniques and the issues they each pose.
We also provide a checklist of recommendations for using and the reporting the #WCST. This paper will be helpful for anyone using the WCST, but also people interested cognitive flexibility and #NeurocognitiveAssessment. https://doi.org/10.3758/s13428-021-01551-3
