Except they weren't this time because they don't want us to know who they are. If we know who is in the Treasury controlling our money we can investigate it.
They were "given" without the proper protocols. I have family with security clearances and it involved deep background checks, multiple forms, and an FBI investigation. This did not happen, Trump handed out clearances like candy. Trump and Musk would not qualify for clearances in normal times.
People working in the same company as me have to pass security clearance checks to perform environmental assessments in US bases and it takes WEEKS and a ton of documentation on them and their partners. It’s nuts that Musk et al were allowed to obtain all that data within days.
