This enormous steel sculpture stands near the site of Croy Hill Roman fort on the Antonine Wall. Created by Svetlana Kondakova and Big Red Blacksmiths, it has been christened 'Silvanus', named after the Roman god associated with countryside and woodland. #RomanFortThursday
