Perplexity is intentionally appending affiliate links for their own account into LLM answers. And often, they won't allow a link unless there's an affiliate opportunity 😡

I don’t use Perplexity but I had some experience with Amazon affiliate program and it checks for the “tag” query parameter for attribution.
Those in the picture look like harmless (maybe even useful) UTM tags, not affiliate
