It's called the "uncanny valley", the sick sensation you feel upon encountering a humanoid robot that's just a bit off. This article is a dumb robot approximation of my work...but that sentence is my uncanny valley. It's pretty much exactly what I'd write, in pretty much exactly that way...

AI is likely now involved in half of the "journalism" out there, though I'm surprised to learn The Guardian uses (or used?) it.
A.I. doesn't even care whether or not something is true. It's the ultimate BS-er. It's more prolific than any human BS-er & won't ever be held accountable.
However, society (morality, regulations, rule of law etc) is based upon the notion that humans are held accountable.
