Fun Apple news: when I updated to iOS 18 my iPhone’s sleep tracker mysteriously stopped working. Finally figured out why 😀
Apple removed the built-in sleep tracking feature, even though it worked like a dream. Can’t think of a single reason to do it aside from pressuring people to buy Apple Watches

It's more likely the data is just unreliable. Its not like it was ever more than just tracking when you put your phone down at night and picked it up in the morning.
but yeah thats bs. hopefully maybe the update broke the feature and they are planning to fix it.
If anything, it’s been removed because it requires sensors (motion, light, etc.) be active and recording during a low energy period.,
Should apple do away with messages, Siri and step tracking in Phones because watches have them too?
Think critically.
