"Memory" by Baddeley, Eysench & Anderson is a good text on this with a cognitive psychology perspective. Has a heavy emphasis on working memory (of course).
Good one. For a good treatment of implicit and explicit memory in the context of perceptual and conceptual similarity, I like Schacter and Buckner 1998 Priming and the Brain.
Not a memory person, just a friendly neighbor 👋: the Oxford Handbook of Memory (2000) was a great resource, as well as the more recent Handbook of Human Memory (2024)
