another lesson for them to learn is if a flagged player is being killed, don't heal them. leave them for dead. if you heal a flagged player, you'll be flagged too. and that's just asking to be killed by horde.

🥹 World of Warcraft was a very faction vs faction game, with core PvP quests and events - learning to not flag yourself accidentally was a rite of passage - there wasn’t perma-death!

But also if I saw my quest NPCs had been killed by Alliance you bet I went and did the same back (or die trying)

Yep! Sometimes you’d head to the next location and find it had been raided by the enemy faction and you had to wait for the NPCs to respawn

maybe it's just my server but it's really interesting to see how seriously people used to take the alliance and horde stuff. Recently I was exploring Kalimdor as a worgen and I ran across another player who stopped and pointed at me, and then I pointed at him, and then we kept walking
