I got feedback on youtube where the commenter felt the Red Queenβs kill animation was lackluster.
Can anyone suggest ideas to help me improve it?
Animation is a weak point (takes forever to make it nice), but I can make a new one from scratch instead of using the Mixamo one. #gamedev #indiedev

keeping some portions short, or even eliminating those "frames"/poses altogether,
and lengthening others to let the motion "hang"
To emphasize "bursts" of movement goes a long way.
