I'm in Adelaide now having retired to a suburb called semaphore. The lack of humidity makes it bearable just with a fan.

I prefer heat even with humidity, fan helps. I absolutely hate the cold. I actually slept better last night than I usually do

Air conditioners run pretty much around the clock at my place and if they can’t keep things cool we prioritise the dehumidifier.
We also got a cooling mattress protector and inserts for our pillow cases from IKEA

Yes. I have ceiling fans which are a lifesaver. My air conditioning unit is to be replaced at some time in the dim dark future. Has to be ordered in

The hot weather always messes me around. I noticed though since we upped our insulation in our roof it’s not as bad. But I do sleep with a fan on

I was supposed to take up a position at a University there last century but I had a young family and elderly parents and frankly do not do well in the cold so declined. I still wonder what would have happened if I actually accepted that position.

We had a lot of interchange with the University in question, and we co-authored a few research papers with them. Saw a few videos to with saunas etc.!
