Like, the POINT is for you to go through the process of looking at your own dreams and considering meaning, whether it's internal meaning or you ascribe something prophetic to it

The point is to do the thing yourself, the activity is where the value is

The purpose of the exercise is to do the thinking yourself. If you outsource the thinking, you are not using your brain and you are not benefiting from the experience.

HOW is it so common for people to jump on outsourcing their thinking? Can we do anything about it? This isn't good.

I encountered this in my former workplace to before my health issues got me fired. Our new project manager was running people's stuff through AI without asking us. It was deeply offensive as writers to just have someone do this to us.

Yeah it was bad. Me and another writer decided to write to our supervisor about it but then I started being out of work due to health and never saw what the followup was until I was let go.

And yeah I still am trying to decide if I can reasonably take legal action.

Math may not be necessary or important in their lives, and if they hate doing math, I hope they don't have to! But math is still important overall, and it's good for everybody to learn some of it personally
