I believe that caring about people necessarily involves letting them learn /autonomously/ about the world (FAFO). The way you square this is by, after they FO, helping them get insulin. I have not yet seen widespread evidence that the people harping on diabetic Rs have given up on that 2nd part.

A lot of people who’ve posted that “I don’t know how to explain that you should care about other people” quote need to know that they should care about other people. I want my tax dollars to go to paying for insulin for the most vile MAGA asshole you ever heard of; that’s part of “everyone”.
