Why does the location need to be specified? An experiment about the Storm can only be done in a Storm and it is a world-wide phenomenon. Why does creating a Storm require one to be in a specific location?
I'm hella interested in why Ulrich's suitcase looks like that or if it's just aesthetic for the sake of aesthetic.
Being in Laplace, does Vertin go back to SPF HQ to get this mission then go to the ship or does this immediately follow 2.2?
Vertin's nixie watch just shows the countdown before the Storm truly arrives. Sure, she has other nixie clocks in the suitcase that tell the time of the outside world, but Ms. Grace seems to be specific on this one.
It kinda makes sense a little bit since Ulrich IS trying to make an artificial Storm, so both watches would be counting down, but what about the years?
I'm going to be honest, I have no fucking clue how these relate to one another.
1999 is the first Storm, of course. 2005 is a year where no Storms at all happened. And 2007 is the year with the most Storms and where the prologue started.
ps graphic is outdated
There was a total solar eclipse in July 11, 1991, but I'm not sure if it coincides with our cruise's travel path.
It passed through the Pacific, Hawaii, and a lot of Central America.
but lets be fr how do you accelerate an eclipse to start a Storm
