Yeah, my first thought was Hall as well for slightly higher chance of clean sheet. Guess i’ll have to flip a coin. Thanks a lot Andy! Keep at it with the great work!
yeah he’s had 7 returns in his last 6 starts in all comps. his set up for hojlund’s opener yesterday would’ve counted as an fpl assist, taking him to 8 returns in 6 starts
as an owner i absolutely think so, they’re stronger on their right side where he plays, great dribbler, takes lots of shots, i’m starting him vs man city this weekend
I agree although my debate is slightly different start two from Bruno/João Pedro/Enzo. Same bottom line of whether Bruno is worth playing or benching?
Should I do the sensible thing with 2FT and shore up defence with Gab’s injury (Mbeumo+Barco to Enzo+Trent - I have Gab, Hall, Konsa, Robinson) or go for flair picks (Mbeumo +Wissa to Isak + Enzo).
Will WC in GW18/19 so saving also an option as I have the 3 premium mids (SSP) and Jackson/cunha.
Think getting Trent in is inevitable.. but whether I do it this week or not is the big question. Also don’t know how good an option Enzo or Iwobi are
Kerkez vs Forest defender. As always there’s no love for Forest players but all they do is outscore the alternatives. Is it not just overthinking to pick RAN Kerkez etc for attacking returns when the Forest guys all have 5cs and an attacking return already and have been consistent all season?
Especially with Aina or Milenković who are both attacking options too. It's only three moderately tough games and I wouldn't want to be swapping a 4th defender about for 15+ games (barring injury).
For the record, I have Mykolenko, Milenković and Kerkez as my rotating 3rd/4th/5th defender.
I’ve got milenkovic and Murillo behind Trent vvd and timber. They’re there as cover mainly but 8 points last week came in handy despite conceding 2. I just think with the wing backs at teams with bad defences they concede in all the good fixtures so they’re harder to predict
Forest (and Bournemouth) are very good defences but as clean sheets are hard to predict, people get antsy if they don't return in good games. 35% return rates are great for cheap defenders and you can tilt the odds to about 50% by benching in unfavourable games.
Absolutely. It helps bring a Forest fan as well but although they’ll be benched more often than not I’d never be worried if I had to play them, so I’ll probs keep on wc2 even and never use a transfer on those spots. Unsold on Kerkez because they’re a front foot team but happy to be proven wrong
I’m not trolling… I love your streams… but I still heavily recommend owning some forest assets. Stuart Dallas was a season keeper. Why not milenkovic? It’ll stop your viewers spamming RAN to Kerkez vs a real asset
Aha, I benched milenkovic. And started wood for a very contentious offside. So maybe there is no way of picking the right guy, but Forest defender is a clear 4th defender season keep. I hope in future you make way more points from holding
Time will tell but if it’s for a 3rd defender I get why. If it’s for a 4th then it’s booking transfers. Haven’t looked who’s good when Bournemouth fixtures turn but let’s say it’s Leif Davis or Antonee Robinson… none of these players return in the obvious fixtures. Bar Liv Forest cleaned in the obv
I've brought Mitoma and Gordon in the last 2 weeks, trying to bring in a couple of semi diffs. Am I living in the past? Are Mbueno, Johnson, Maduake better shouts maybe... What dya think?
Rico Lewis. I get why some folk are selling him now to get a third decent/playing defender this week, but isn't he someone you would want from GW18? Or are Man City playing so badly that all of their players are to be avoided?
they probably need a third solid defence option and it’s just easier to sell the guy suspended. 7 points in the last 5 gameweeks will hardly command loyalty from managers

Ait-Nouri can be so attacking though!

Attacking returns are much rarer.
Aina has done really well this season but outside of the Ipswich game he has 3 points total from 4 of the last 5 Gameweeks.
The upcoming fixtures don't scream clean sheets to me, albeit they are better than the last 5.
Thank god I kept Aina over RAN😂
