This is devastating news. The RDRCs have supported tons of great work on Social Security programs and improving well-being for beneficiaries. Small grants for dissertations and early career researchers have huge returns and help to train the next generation.

I am sad to share that all Retirement & Disability Research centers have been ordered to stop work. My fellowship will no longer exist, and the work of so many talented researchers and dedicated staff will be cut short.
