Yep! Wing jewelry, like a giant necklace. Technically the way they're draped would limit my ability to open them... But the string inside is not exactly the strongest so it's more about me being careful not to pull it to much and snapping it and spill gold bits everywhere

Part of the idea is in the archipelago, magic crystals were preferred instead as the mineral store of value, and some worlds are just relatively, kinda hilariously rich in gold, so gold isn't really valued as a trade good or store of value - so it's primary use is ornamental!
