All children need two doses of MMR.
Dose 1: 12-15 months
Dose 2: 4-6 years.
They can get the 2nd dose earlier as long as it’s at least 28 days after dose 1.

Unvaccinated people with potential exposure: airborne quarantine from 5 days after the exposure through day 21.
Post-exposure prophylaxis: MMR vaccine within 72 hours of exposure OR therapeutic immunoglobulin (IG) within 6 days of exposure.

You must report to state health department. Measles is a nationally notifiable disease.
Anyone with measles rash must be in isolation for 4 days after rash presents.

Avoid entering rooms for 2 hours after an infected person was in it.
Disinfect surfaces & clothing to limit potential transmission.
Seek medical care if symptoms worsen.
