I hope you are right about this but I don't trust any republican who says the oppose an action by trump to actual follow through and do anything. Talk is cheap and time will tell. After Jan 6 some repubs spoke out against trump only to resume their subservience to the convicted felon.

tRump is already doing that. Between the threat of ICE raids on field workers and dumping millions of gallons of saved water, California is going to struggle this crop season.
