Disengaging is how some people are legit holding themselves together. Everybody not finna be on the front lines and I completely understand why. Mfs are exhausted.

I'm exhausted because I stood on the front lines while these people participated in jest, for clout, for something to do on a weekend. Yelling back responses to chants and laughing while we strained for our voices to be heard. No one understands, no one empathizes until they feel that exact threat
Everyone gets exhausted.
Saying people can’t be exhausted is just toxic nonsense.
Better is to look after each other, support and accept our diverse energy levels.
I understand and appreciate your message. As you indicate and I agree, we have “diverse energy levels.” I believe in supporting and accepting this. For me, as an immigrant and recipient of social security because I’m old, resting is not a choice at the moment. 🙏🏽
Thank you for continuing. I’m a teacher so my weeks are pretty draining. I think you have a lot on your plate as an immigrant, but I also think retirees have a responsibility to fight for those of us who are trying to survive, too. I hear your concerns about disengagement. You are right. #UNITE 🫂🗽💕🇺🇸
💪🏽. Sending you strength. There are more gray hair people protesting and active than any other demographic at the moment. We will die trying to leave others a better country. I got your back!

Absolutely. There are plenty of people who can't and don't wnat to be on the front lines. Any that do not are welcome to my resources and, if I can, protection. Any that do, I'm willing to either lead or follow any women or BIPOC community members if they want to lead.
