When Mikey climbs through a car in the chop shop and accidentally turns on the radio, it plays the song Ninja Rap by Vanilla Ice from the 1991 live action movie TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze. Moments later, you see the single’s cover art on the car’s dash screen.

The ice cream truck used in the heist for Superfly has Spongebob and TMNT ice creams on the menu.

It also has Choco Tacos, which were discontinued in 2022 while the film was in production. I am still mourning the loss of the Choco Taco.

The brand name of the car batteries in the chop shop scene is BONK, and Raphael gets "bonked" in the head with one in the fight.

Similarly, BANG is written on the back of this chop shop guy's hat. Moments later, he makes a "bang" by firing a shotgun at Raphael, and only misses thanks to a socket wrench thrown by Donatello.

This computer monitor in TCRI says “5745 DAYS SINCE LAST SUCCESSFUL MUTATION”. 5745 days is 15 years and a few months, which is how long it’s been since the turtles were mutated.

This is also how long it’s been since I had a real hobby.
