The @wsj.com editorial board suggests the drop in US life expectancy since 2019 may be due to "pandemic lockdowns," something I haven't heard before.

Not the 1.2 million confirmed US deaths from Covid (actual figure is undoubtedly higher) or the increased risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses after a Covid infection, but the year or so people were mostly home. What?
