They have added a bunch of questions about data access fees. Notable to me:
- One Q opens the door to a "view-only" VRDC role, which would really help teams
- They're thinking about student dissertations
- Interest in expanding the scope of Limited Data Sets (would be great)

Expansion of LDS would be amazing for the type of work I do—a 20% sample, including Carrier, plus Part D data would make me so happy. I don’t care about having county rather than zip code. An even bigger sample (80%!) would make me even happier for rare diseases and things like workforce studies

What’s your thought on the view only access? That doesn’t seem useful to me. If a person didn’t need to analyze (which I assume includes SQL queries), why would that person benefit from individual level rather than aggregated data?

Not sure how common this use case would be, but for me at least, it would be great to have a project with one full user who is an RA/trainee. Then I would have a view-only role so I could easily review their code and results.

Code and results can be exported—though I don’t know what the restrictions are on exports or how quickly they get cleared through VRDC. I would want to be able to actually run the code to check it, which it sounds like would not be possible.
