Alright all, it's about time for me to upgrade my home wifi mesh. Home is about 2300 SQ/ft. Lots of devices. I don't want to run cat5 everywhere so has to be a mesh. What are your top recommendations?

Deco PX50 with power based secondary connection. Let me know if you have questions, but all the general expectations are met out of the box. Device isolation, not network, etc. Works at our 100ftx100ft area with 4 and ~200 devices (smart switches mostly)
I have a large Ubiquiti setup at my parents which is part cat5, part mesh. Seems reliable, expandable/upgradeable and gets regular updates over many years. Doesn't need to be expensive
Unfortunately, Ubiquiti is the only prosumer SDN game in town. I wish we had something else. Also unfortunate: if you want to completely support "WiFi 7", their wall outlet mesh extender still only support 6. At least as of last week when I looked at updating my network.
But, yeah, Ubiquiti is the route to go. I cover my 2,300sqft house with a single "U6 Enterprise" located in the garage area of my split level and a single "Beacon HD" fed by a "UDM Pro".
My UniFi setup is wired so canβt comment on the mesh aspect (others in the replies seem to love it) but the network management and feature aspects are top notch.
Eero has been decent, but I'll only use the older devices. Amazon bought them, integrated w/ Alexa, and stream data back to Amazon. If I go mesh again, it'll be an Ubiquiti network (https://ui.com/us/en/wifi).

If itβs on your list I say go for it.
