I saw you're reading Mistborn too, which is another series I just adore
yes i've read the first two mistborn books so far!! i absolutely loved the first book, but the second was kind of disappointing imo. still looking forward to reading the third though!!
4.5/5 βοΈ The Will of the Many by James Islington β recommended for fans of epic fantasy (feels like The Name of the Wind, but much stronger characters+themes imo). it's a slow build for the first 25%, but then becomes impossible to put down

it's so tough to choose a favorite, i love them all for so many different reasons π top 3 would probably be Slow Regard of Silent Things, Yellowface, and Tress of the Emerald Sea.
The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a side story from another epic fantasy series so it's notβ (1/2)
the layers of satire in Yellowface were brilliant and i couldn't put it down; Tress of the Emerald Sea was super whimsical, kind of bizarre, and really sweet (and sometimes horrifying??). they're all SO good though π₯² (2/2)
