So I’ll wait for Tuesday and be pleasantly surprised if the bill drop is actually a bill to keep women and girls safe by you know, protecting health care, paid sick leave, abortion access, teaching consent in sex ed, addressing inflation, or investing more money in women’s athletics, but yeahhh.

So look. I’m not saying Republicans are entirely incompetent. They do appear to be very adept at fear mongering, scapegoating, and dividing America.

But if you are a politician on either side of the aisle, and you ACTUALLY value individual freedoms, fairness, and equality.

And you think the value of youth sports is learning about perseverance, dedication, self-assurance, and teamwork, then you should want MORE young people participating in them and less invasive barriers to that participation.

You should also be a HARD NO on this hateful, divisive legislation.
