Just finished rewatching Blue Velvet tonight. Cast is impeccable top to bottom and directed in a way only Lynch could. There will never be another like him.

Mulholland Drive is like that for me. The first time I saw it, it absolutely cratered me. So the next day I played hooky from work and saw it again. Both times, the audience sat spellbound (and probably traumatized) until the screen went white.
