In the case of the deportation of Abrego Garcia, the stand off between SCOTUS and Trump was caused by the very wrong ruling by the Roberts court in 2024 that POTUS cannot be prosecuted for "exercising core powers". Nothing in the US Constitution says that -- the Roberts Court just made that up.
