You can play any save in any language. Some languages have cu Tom folders though so make sure you move it to the right folder. Like in german its die sims 4 instead of the (doc folder)

Oops forgot to ask... 😉 what does cu Tom mean? And do I have to move it to a specific folder myself when I change the language of the Sims in the ea app? Sorry for all the questions...😕
I'm asking for one of my site followers, and I can't try it myself because I'm already playing in Dutch. She wants to switch from English to Dutch and when she does it works, but then the game can't find her saves. 1/2
So it's like she has to start all over again. Do you know where the saves/sims 4 folder is located after the switch so she can manually move the folder? 2/2 Thanks.
Not exactly sure what the dutch folder is called. You could look in the doc folder what the name is for you. Then move from the saves folder of documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to documents\Electronic Arts\
Oh! I think that's the problem because her Sims 4 folder was still called "The" Sims 4 after the switch. I asked her to change it to "De" Sims 4 and I'll let you know if that fixes it. Thanks a lot for your help!
Its just a matter of displaying the right language. Its basically saved in a generic matter and the chosen language tells the game which strings to use
